Since our inception, we have expanded our project range to include residential development, park and play area design, residential care homes, private garden design and landscape infrastructure. This expansion has been reflected in our broad client base, which ranges from residential developers to local planning authorities whilst maintaining our core objective:

Our design team, based at our head office in Malmesbury, provides a high quality, innovative, responsive and well respected service. Our branch offices in Surrey, Hampshire and Cheshire provide regional support and an immediate service to our clients in those areas. The regional offices are responsible for direct client contact for projects in those areas and co-ordinate all aspects of landscape design, ecology and arboriculture.
 
ACD has taken the initiative to form a multi-disciplinary landscape team, providing a full environmental design service. We ensure that we contribute fully on all our projects and have built strong client relationships on the strength of this ethos.

The greatest rate of climate change within the UK is predicted to be in the south-east, with current estimates between + 3-5°C.

Climate change has the potential to drastically alter the British landscape, with Oak and Beech woodlands completely dying out as the temperatures increase and extreme rainfall intensifies.

The way in which we use our public realm will alter with the onset of climate change, with more out door eating areas, seating areas and general areas of informal recreation, but there will be a need for shade and shelter with the increase in heat and extreme rainfall.

There are landscape architectural solutions to help alleviate the impacts of climate changes, such as Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS), Green roofs, swales and other water attenuation features.
